Amy M. Lynch is West Division Vice President of Engineering Operations. She, along with her team of over 250 employees, are responsible for the strategic vision and implementation of initiatives related to engineering inclusive of design, construction, and network operations across Comcast regions. Specifically, Amy and her team are deploying the next generation access network to support the growth of Comcast products and services. Prior to her current role, Amy served as Regional Vice President of Operations for the Comcast California. She was responsible for day to day operations of the technical enterprise, network and logistics team encompassing over 2,500 employees. As a seasoned technology, media and communications veteran, Amy has held influential roles where she and her teams have introduced new products and services to consumers and businesses, re-engineered end-to-end processes and executed network infrastructure investments. Prior to Comcast, Amy worked at @Home Network, one of the early Internet dot com service providers and for Cox Communications.
Amy has been named to Cablefax Magazine’s Top 100 Regional Power Players list for the last 7 years. She was also named the Northern California WICT Woman of the Year in 2012 and was one of the San Francisco Business Times’ Most Influential Women.
Amy is a New England native and holds a degree from University of Connecticut, in addition to leadership certificates from Harvard and Dartmouth, Tuck School of Business. She is an active member in the Society of Cable Television Engineers (SCTE), Women in Cable Television (WICT), and Women in Technology International (WITI). Amy also volunteers in the community, serving on several boards.
