Fort Collins is an entrepreneurial and collaborative city, yet our K-12 education system is still largely based on educational models from the 1900's that stress information delivery and compliance. Join us to learn about how Compass High School, a new, public charter school is being built by a team of educators, students, entrepreneurs, artists, and business and nonprofit leaders to offer parents and students an innovative alternative. Our community-based school will make Fort Collins a national showcase for engaging youth in learning and contributing through real world projects and extensive internships. Our graduates will be academically prepared, and equally importantly, they will be masters of 21st Century skills including design thinking, communication, teamwork, and strategic planning. Compass High is more than a school, it is a community partner preparing students to join our city as engaged, entrepreneurial, and compassionate young adults. Please join us to discuss our exciting new model for working with students to assure a prosperous and healthy future for Fort Collins.
