We’ve been promised true virtual reality experiences since the 80’s, but it’s not until recently that the technology needed to bring this to the real world has been available. Now, with recent advances in computing and display technologies VR is poised to be the next big revolution in numerous arenas such as cinema, gaming, and productivity. How is this cutting-edge tech being utilized by startups and corporations right here in Northern Colorado? This panel discussion gathers together VR pioneers all located right here in NoCo who are pushing the boundaries of this new medium and exploring all the ways it can be utilized to enhance educational experiences, bring brands to the next level, and even revolutionize the way audiences engage with museums and cultural institutions. After the panel discussion, experience VR for yourself with multiple types of devices and experiences. Cash bar will be available. Seating in the OtterBox Digital Dome is limited, additional seating and panel discussion viewing will be provided at an alternative location within the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery if capacity is reached.
